This project is a fun example of how you can hand build relatively large ceramic pieces for decorative uses. I show the steps I used from throwing and hand building through glazing and final fire.

As part of the making of this, I also wanted to try and make the widest piece I could fit into my electric kiln. This piece is just under 20" wide fully fired.
