Helpful Pointers:
Keep your gun straight and tight against the fabric.
Make sure there is no tension between your yarn and gun.
Don't run over the same spot too many times!
If you make a hole, don't panic! Look up how to fix it. (Don't do what I did!)
Final Thoughts:
It's a great beginner kit, it's very easy to learn. The gun is light and easy to handle. Apparently it's more pet friendly than other brands. I mean, don't let your cats press up against it while you're tufting, but other brands have nails and big heavy frames. This frame was super light and easy to assemble with no nails. It is a little on the spendy side, but I think it's worth it if you want to get into rug making. I just wish they also sold yarn because I'm lost there! The yarn they send is great quality but the colors kinda suck and it's just a starter kit. I wish I knew where to buy more yarn like it.
