Today I’m making some beautiful background papers using Paul Ruben’s extra large watercolor pans. These ceramic trays hold 90g of watercolor paint—the equivalent of 16 regular pans! I’m working with Chinese Red, Lemon Yellow, and Prussian Blue today to mix some beautiful jewel tones for this art deco inspired background.
These papers will be great to use for #TradingPaperPals, a free paper swap, coming up in January 2025. See my Instagram feed for more details. Registration opens January 4, 2025.
