In this video, I’m working quietly in my junk journal—gluing scraps of paper, layering quotes, and turning odds and ends into art pages. Nothing fancy, just the slow, grounding process of making something with my hands.
I’m also talking candidly about current events and politics, and I won’t pretend it’s easy. I’m feeling deeply disappointed and disturbed by what’s happening in the world right now, and it’s been hard to stay creative when everything feels so heavy.
This isn’t a polished or upbeat video, but it is honest. Art doesn’t always come from joy—sometimes it comes from confusion, grief, frustration, or the need to sit with uncomfortable feelings and keep going anyway.
