In the past 3 months, the COVID-19 has caused a global crisis of unprecedented scale and has a growing socio-economic impact on our economy.
I stayed in Spain during this crisis. It is one of the most affected among many. Today Spain is lifting lockdown measures and trying to restore a sense of normality. But what's next? How could we react and plan for a world after coronavirus as artists? How to survive and strive in the next economic downturn?
I've worked and lived in the post 2008 financial crisis Spain, and I want to share my thoughts with you. In my reality, half of young people were unemployed. Even when they had jobs, they were paid from 750 to 1000 EUR a month, way below any other European countries minimum wage. I observed closely on how consumers made their purchasing decisions.
