I have developed the waistcoats to help me ride - as a regular costochondritis sufferer, sports bras for longer periods of time are not an issue - or any other bras than a soft bralette really.. :-( ) due to a painful pressure. The pain however was almost completely gone when I was wearing Victorian corsets - and the bout would pass quicker too, within weeks as opposed to months. As an equestrian with an ample bosom i do requite quite a lot to support the boobage while riding - and so I decided on a concept of merging our Victorian riding corset design with a more modern waistcoat.
The waistcoat worked very well - supported bits needing support, reduced bouncing bosom, and helped with long hours in the saddle - particulary sidesaddle. It has been our bestseller ever since...

This video shows how they are made - using classic corsetry techniques combined with modern solutions ( elastic, zip etc).
you can see more about them on my website!
