Here is a sneak preview of my expansion pack for Akai iMPC and MPC. It's a work in progress. So I start by recording a nice music loop using my Prophet 12 and Tempest. I record it into Cubase and sometimes Ableton Live depends on my mood. I then bounce the tracks down and edit out the one shots because a lot of my drums are layered I bounce them down as a mix and do the editing after that. There are some loops too because you can use loops in the MPC software. Then I drop everything in iTunes file sharing and import it into the Akai app. Next I map out the sounds and create new patterns using the samples. This is just 1 day in the studio. More to come!
