Historical Belle | Making a Vintage 1960's Holiday Apron - Perfect for Christmas Baking! @HistoricalBelle | Uploaded December 2023 | Updated October 2024, 1 hour ago.
Hello Everyone! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! It has become a tradition of this time of year to do a collab with some sewing friends across the world and internet, this year Annabelle of @AnnabelleAndBensAntics, Amy of @SwimminginaSeaofEstrogen, and I have come together to spread holiday cheer by creating and sending aprons to one another.
I drew Amy and decided to make her a vintage 1960's style apron with POCKETS perfect for holiday baking! Aprons are great gifts that you can make and then give to your family and friends. I hope this video inspires and helps you with your holiday making, baking, and giving.
I used Simplicity Pattern 6206 which was an authentically reproduced pattern from the 1960's

This is the super cute holiday baking themed fabric I used from JoAnns: joann.com/robert-kaufman-baking-gingerbread-on-green-christmas-cotton-fabric/18255380.html
I also made a matching oven mitt, and will be putting out a video how I made that next!
