Chewbacca – Handcrafted Star Wars Puppet Made in Bali 🇮🇩
In this first video of the series, we visit a traditional craftsman in Bali who hand-makes incredible leather puppets using techniques passed down through generations. For this project, we asked him to create something completely unexpected… a Chewbacca puppet from Star Wars.
What makes this even more special is that these puppets are not for sale. They were personally commissioned and crafted for us as a creative project, and each one took months of careful handwork. In total, it took nearly a year to complete the full set of Star Wars-inspired puppets.
