The PULSE is no more than a cruel procedure to bring out the most in a Pokémon but at the cost of their life no doubt which is why they are as powerful as they are. With Pokemon Reborn setting itself apart as much as it has, there was always bound to be issues here and there in regards to what it did with such changes compared to the norm.
