3D scanning is the process of taking the dimensional data of a real-world object and converting this into a computer accessible design (such as an STL file). It sounds tricky and awkward, and thats what I expected, but this Creality model really surprised me. Its a much simpler process than I imagined and more importantly, its an easy process for a complete amateur to follow.
