[First Contact]

"THIS IS ARALIA. AN UNTOUCHED WORLD OF SERENITY. HOME TO LIFE AND ITS DESCENDANTS. AS OVERSEER, I WAIT UNTIL HUMANITY IS AT PEACE AND READY."

This was the first and last time we heard the voice from beyond the barrier. It was overheard by a someone only known as "Kudzu", an ancient explorer who regularly traveled to the barrier, the invisible wall that surrounds our world. A few years after hearing the voice, he supposedly went missing, never to be found again.

The world of Aralia is an ocean surrounded by a ring of giant islands, each one being home to vastly different cultures and communities. At least...that's what we can assume. The government who runs this world now...they don't allow travel of any kind. Even talk of the barrier is looked down upon. This is their way of ensuring our "safety".

There are no large conflicts, but is this truly the "peace" that our God wanted? Is it fine to be segregated from everyone? Is it okay to live in ignorance, going off the words of our ancestors? None of this feels right. I don't think this is living. I want to explore and solve the world's mysteries, and that's what I plan to do...one day. When the time is right.
