It's been over a year since making Victorian Gonzo, so it's time to tackle another historically accurate cosplay! This time around it's a little different- rather than focusing on a characters outfit from a specific era and talking about how the clothing would have actually been made, I'm choosing an era that we didn't get see in the first season. Since Aziraphale is an angel, he's been around since the beginning and we can pick any era to place him in! But I do have a Belle Epoque event coming up and would love a new outfit for tea. I'm also doing research into 19th/20th c women's sportswear and active attire, so an 1890s "new woman" bicycle outfit seemed to fit with all of my needs! And it should be an easy adjustment to his common ensemble based in the 1860s. Turns out, as tailors were making so much women's wear in the late Victorian era, they were ending up very similar to menswear!
