In this video I break down my approach to designing two drops from my song A Dark Chill. Both are heavily dubstep-influenced, but I decided to go "no-growl" on this one. Shamisen and electric piano are the main focus, and I wanted to demonstrate how far a bit of processing can take them!

Feel free to leave a comment if you have a question about the video content you'd like answered--I'll do my best to get around to all of them!

~12:08: I completely missed that the EQ wasn't showing up in the screen capturing, apologies! It was basically several deep cuts between 150Hz and 950Hz, scooping out the gunk in the low mids/mids.
