One of the larger metal tops I have made (9.5 feet long). I'm using advanteck subflooring and spruce framing lumber to engineer the substrate to be strong in the longitudinal direction but as light weight as possible. I think it worked out pretty well for this size project. This video is part 3 and part 2 will be making the custom trestle base. Buy my juice!
