I'm working on a nightstand that goes with a bed and chest of drawers that I built for my grandson 17 years ago. It involves several lathe turnings. I showed the pineapple feet and finials on the previous video. In this one, I make fluted cylindrical columns to go between the finials. (These are scaled down for the nightstand.)
Fortunately, the fixture box and router stand that I made 17 years ago were still hanging on my fixture wall.... and they worked for fluting these columns. That is what I show here.
