Most of us spend our lives reacting to a reality we did not choose. Years ago, while serving in the Peace Corps in Bangladesh, someone challenged me with a phrase that changed the course of my life: "Make your own world." At the time it was meant as an insult. Today I understand it as one of the truest things ever said to me.
I'm James O'Neill. For more than twenty years I have sat with people at the depths most conversations never reach. I'm a licensed clinical professional counselor, a certified mindfulness teacher, and a clinical hypnotherapist, and my work lives where science meets soul. The deeper credential is the path itself: Peace Corps service, a near-death experience that rearranged everything I believed, single fatherhood, and two decades of holding soul-level space for people in real transformation.
This channel is for thoughtful, accomplished people who have done the inner work and still feel something missing. Not people looking to cope, but people ready to author.
