In the exact size of the Minecraft Steve action figure. The cost ends up being about 3¢ per block. I'll be uploading painting videos of each style of minecraft block including: Grass, Wood, Planks, Cobblestone, Furnace, Water, Lava, Glowstone, Redstone, Iron, Gold, Diamond, Lapis, Coal, Gravel, TNT and I think thats it.
I used a 1.5"X1.5"X8' pine furring strip from Home Depot. It cost $1.99 and creates about 64 or so blocks.
For painting I used acrylic paints and sponge brushes. For the small details I used sharpie markers.
