This simple yet powerful DNA model uses magnets to show base pairing in action! In this video, I’ll show you what this model can do, what it can’t do, and how to build your own step by step.
I originally built this for my Stated Clearly video on mutation bias, and many people asked where to buy it. Right now, you can’t, but if 300 people commit, my brother’s company might manufacture them at an affordable price.
This model helps visualize:

✅ Template-based replication (RNA world hypothesis)
