I made a small side table for someone last year and they have asked if I could make another. I suppose having this small side table just adds a spot to add a beverage or book that's within reach. As with most builds its a matter of getting the correct sizes in order to make an item fit into a space.
This is a fun project as its small and material handling is very easy, its always important to put felt tabs underneath your legs for inside builds as this helps prevent marking any surfaces.
To make a small side table like this should only take about half a day or a little more and is fun. I try to use different types of finish on projects to see what the end result produces.
I used pocket hole joinery for this project but biscuits, dowels or conventional screws will suffice as long as you can hide the screws somehow.
So give this simple build a go and enjoy making something for your home on your own.
