Make this cool Screen Glow effect in Photoshop!
Add your photo and convert it to a Smart Object. Duplicate it and apply Path Blur from the Blur Gallery.
Create a new document, draw rectangles, add the gradient, duplicate until they fill the screen.
Convert the shapes to a Smart Object and add Diffuse Glow. Save both - this PSD and the texture.
Back in your main file, duplicate the photo layer, go to Distort, Displace, select the saved psd.
Experiment with more duplicates, stronger displacement, and different blending modes. Add Invert on top and lower its opacity.
Get back to your psd file - add Ocean Ripple or reduce Glow if you want the texture to be darker. Add the new texture on top!
Finish with Curves, Gradient Map, Grain, Saturation, and any extra textures.
That’s how you get the glow!
