In trail running, runners traverse beautiful nature, confront their weaker selves and surpass themselves.  At the Salomon Zugspitz Ultratrail powered by Ledlenser 2024, almost 4,000 runners competed over six different distances.

But it's the people in the background and along the route who make Germany's biggest trail running event possible in the first place - they organize, lend a hand, help and cheer on.
