This video shows how you can improve the chances your rc plane launches will go well. I recently bought a Volantex Ranger 1600, rc model aircraft, a pusher, but haven't been looking forward to the maiden as these planes are known to have a tendency to nose dive and crash when hand-launched. This is how I'm hoping to make it go smoothly. My video shows step-by-step how to programme a trim switch into your rc transmitter. (I'm using FlySky i6x.) What does a trim switch do? Flick a switch on the transmitter before throwing and it'll give a measured amount of uptrim on the elevator which should ensure a climb as it starts away. Once the aircraft is in the air just flick the switch to go back to normal trim. Simples! P.S. Don't forget to subscribe to see the maiden to see if it works!
