Let’s pretend the world is crashing down around us
Let’s forget that we’re ok
Pretend that we know nothing of the future
And maybe we want it that way

Up above us there are stars painted on the ceiling
The closet is shut, the nightlight holds our hand
And luckily for us everything is perfect
But let’s pretend that we don’t understand
