In the lobby of the Museum, you’ll find a cart where, as Miranda July says, you can take a zine, leave a zine, or make a zine. The cart will be present through March 31, 2024 while the exhibition is open.
If you decide to put the do-it-yourself philosophy of zines to the test, artist, Neta Bomani, created a simple-to-follow guide to create your own zine—from concept and style, to content and audience. Sometimes it’s hard to get a zine project started, but the best way to make a zine is simply to start! Below are questions and points to consider when initiating a zine.
