This Does Not Compute | Make a Walkman Gumstick Battery Charging Adapter! @ThisDoesNotCompute | Uploaded January 2021 | Updated October 2024, 1 day ago.
I have a few cassette and MiniDisc portable audio players that use "gumstick" NiMH batteries -- but I didn't have a way to way to easily recharge them. Instead of buying a charger, I made an adapter that lets me use one I already have.
