PEG is chosen as a hydraulic brake fluid for its very high boiling point. Usually over 400f. So this is a very exothermic reaction!
Something I noticed.
If the hypochlorite or brake fluid contains an appreciable amount of water you will not get a fire, instead you will get a very thick white smoke that is probably toxic.
