Why I’ve always hated websites 👇👀
When I decided I wanted to quit my job and work for myself, I attempted to set up a wedding videography business.
I spent weeks coming up with a business name and a logo.
I got a business cards printed.
And, of course, I made a website. It took WEEKS and to be honest, it didn’t look great 💤
After filming a wedding for my first paying client, I actually realised I hated filming weddings when it wasn’t my friends.
Ooops. I hadn’t found my “dream” business and I’d wasted SO much time making that website!
Fast forward to my next side hustle, social media management.
Instead of making a website, I spent two mornings making what I could a sales PDF. This was a 8 page document summarising my services and why clients should work with me.
THAT was the start of everything. My multi-6-figure business was built off a PDF I made in a few hours. So that’s exactly what I’ve always coached other SMMs to do so they can start their business faster.
