I have several sheets of metal signage that was offered to me when a local business closed down other wise it was going in the bin. They are faded and a bit scratched up and have attachment holes but I always had a plan to use them in some of my projects. This video is of me making a Retro Coffee Table and working through some of the problems. First my MIG Welder just quit and I cannot get parts for it unfortunately....so if a welding supplier wants to see their machine in my videos you are welcome to drop one my way :) Next I had to bend the sheeting. I could have done this better but I'm a bit impatient. I put some creases in the metal but it is no big deal. I originally planned to have a wood floor to the table frame but after seeing my work light revealing the leg structure I decided against putting floor in. I might think about putting in a perforated floor. Once polished the top came up really bright and nice. I was really please how this project came out.
