This is a bit of a long video sorry. I tried my best to edit the work down, hence a lot of fast motion. I have a lot of plywood I bought second hand a while ago for a bargain price, and I have accumulated a fair amount of scrap ply offcuts which I keep. So, I made an attempt to use the scrap and sheets of ply and other reclaimed materials in this build. The drawers I knew would be heavy, so I decided to route the sides to create an industrial look and at the same time reduce the weight. The original concept had caster wheels, though I changed my mind as the project progressed. I made a steel frame base instead out of 8 mm steel rod. Same too with the drawer handles, I planned to just buy..... but I made a set at the last minute. I made the stain from steel filings and vinegar to have a rusted appearance. I'm still cleaning out the dust out from my shed from this build ;)
