This video is a part of the - "Create TV/Broadcast Ready Animations with Adobe Animate" series. In this series, Prof. Greg Araya from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) teaches how to create TV and broadcast ready animations with Adobe Animate. You can download Adobe Animate from adobe.com/in/products/animate.html.

What you learned: Shapes have different design and animation qualities than Symbols.
- Classic Tweening Graphic Symbols is best for transforming objects.
- Shape Tweening Shapes is best for deforming shapes.
- Custom Paint Brushes can be tweened as any other shape, creating rubber hose or noodle style flexible parts.
- Modify then Shape & thenConvert Lines To Fills is a way to expand a line to a shape that can be made into a Paint Brush.
- Anything created with a brush or shape tools can be converted to an Art Brush.
- Right-click on a selected shape and choose Create Paint Brush. After setting the options, the new Paint Brush will appear in the Stroke Style drop-down menu in the Pencil Tool Properties.
- Sometimes a newly-created Art Brush will have a bounding box around it when selected. It can still be deformed with the Selection Tool, but you have to click off of the Object and then click directly on the Shape to deform it. If this is confusing, just Break Apart the Object so it returns to being a Shape, using Modify & Break Apart.
- Save your incremental progress as a new file.
