In this video I show how one can use plumbing fittings to make up a quick useful mandrel. This mandrel can be used to machine other plumbing fittings, especially when making containers. I use these to make different sizes of screw-on lids. You can also see my waterproof container which is dead easy and quick to make, as there are no milling or screw-cutting operations involved.
