My daughter is currently obsessed with all things @megmoroney so of course I needed to make her a life-size Megan Moroney cut out for her birthday party.

I printed the photo at CVS on banner paper and picked up a giant sheet of foam insulation board from Lowe’s.

I tested some cutting tools I had on hand and the hot knife was the winner. There is a better tool for this but I didn’t want to buy anything new.

I did a rough cut out around the photo in preparation to glue her to the foam insulation board.

I tested out a couple different glues and the best option I had on hand was spray quilt basting glue.

I laid the photo on the board and traced around it with a pencil so I would know exactly where the glue needed to go, then I glued her down.

I used a little squeegee tool to make sure there weren’t any bubbles.

Once she was completely glued down it was time to cut her out.
