DIY Rally style USB Gear Indicator for sim racing. Make this easy dash display using a nextion 2.8" display and free SimHub software.
Expanding on the capabilities of the SimHub software by making and adding an independent rally style gear indicator.
It is USB, stand alone and can be used in combination with any steering wheel - Logitech, G25, G27, G29, G920, Thrustmaster, Fanatec, or OSW.
The gear indicator color can also be easily customized any color or design to suit the user. It can be placed in location on a desk or on the wheel base. A great addition to your sim setup!
For those without soldering equipment.
The first part of the video shows how the display and USB module can be assembled with the provided wires, without soldering.
Soldering wires will make it neater and more compact.
