“A significant water main break” is being accessed and repaired on Tompkins Street after being reported early Tuesday morning, city officials said.
“We know this disruption will have a significant impact on many residents and businesses, and we appreciate everyone’s patience as this work continues,” the mayor’s office said in a news release.
The city’s Water Department will be conducting water quality testing once the break is fixed, and determine if it is necessary to put out a boil water advisory, the release said.
