Major first entered the shelter shortly before Christmas 2015 and became a quick staff and volunteer favorite for his happy demeanor. As weeks turned to months, Major began refusing to walk back to his kennel, so staff and volunteers would have to carry him. On July 23, 2016, Clear the Shelters Day, Major stepped out of the play yard and hit the deck like he always does.
He has no idea that he was just adopted.
