✨ ~ backstory! •*.

From a very young age, Millie’s life was perfect; she had everything she could’ve dreamed of. She had a very close friend, Keiko, who she commonly went to a sunflower field with to pick flowers they wore
in their hair.

However, one day her father fell ill and had to leave his job. Her mother didn’t work so her father was the only source of income for the household meaning they fell into poverty. The little amount of money coming into the house was spent by her father at bars and on gambling to cope with the stress. Alcohol became a very large coping mechanism for him, which caused him to become abusive towards Millie and her mother, even cutting all of his daughters hair off in a rage “as punishment”.

One evening, while at a bar, a strange person approached Millie’s father with a contract. He signed it immediately, as he saw he would come into a large sum of money if he did. It was a dark, rainy night when there was an aggressive knock at the door. 3 men in suits bursted in and dragged her away and threw her into the back of a van. She collapsed.

When she opened her eyes she was in a dingy looking dormitory. The blankets were torn and the walls were rotting. There were two young girls looking down on her, one named Lilith and the other Lizzie.

During her time at the dormitory, she was commonly taken for scans and injections that lead to irreversible physical and mental damage, until one day a test failed. There was a large explosion which ended up killing both Lilith and Millie; however the tests caused their souls to combine and stay alive within Millies body.

After her time in the lab was over, she was taken to a child’s care home with Lizzie and the other ex-patients. This is where she picked up the nickname “Cyber” - the explosion caused her memories to vanish and thanks to bullying from the other children, she picked up the name. Lizzie had to leave soon after, and that’s when Yellow started to speak.

Yellow, who was once her close friend Lilith, was now merely an image in her head, an empty voice in her ears. She would constantly tease Cyber about her past, reminding her of traumatic events and blaming everything on her father. Yellow eventually teased her into insanity and gained total control, pushing her to murder her father as she was convinced this would end her suffering.
