Dixie Carter went through a table last week, something we'll see up coming. As I reported, Dixie was indeed injured from the fall. (off the middle rope, Bully Bomb) Bully did his best to protect her and cushion her fall, however she broke a bone in her back.
The most interesting part now is the Dixie Carter character is no longer on TV, and won't be. The idea was to eliminate the character from TV and storylines, and this is how it was done, but here's the MOST interesting point.
Back around March, the Jarrett's & Toby Keith tried to purchase TNA from the Carter family, all was going well, however Dixie's father had ONE stipulation; "You must keep Dixie Carter's character on TV." The Jarrett's refused to this proposal, (which to me isn't that bad, especially since THAT was the only stipulation) now the character IS off TV.
As noted, TNA used former WWE stars Snitsky and Ezekiel Jackson at the New York City tapings last week as members of Team Dixie but they were apparently "fired" by Dixie before the Friday night tapings, which they did not work.
Word now is that the two are indeed done with TNA. They were only booked for two of the three NYC tapings with the idea that Dixie using "real" ECW guys would get heat with the NYC crowd and also showcase how far gone the Dixie Carter character had gotten.
When Zeke and Snitsky were booked for the tapings, they were not brought in with the idea that they would be signed to contracts.
Andrew: So basically it was believed by them that they would be getting signed to a TNA deal, however this isn't true, they will not be back in TNA as this report is posted.
