Accompagnant une montée des marches vers une Galerie des Glaces suggérée par un miroir monumental, un parfum de roses ajoute une dimension sensorielle poétique à l’exposition rétrospective consacrée à la peintre Elisabeth Louise Vigée Le Brun. Imaginée par Francis Kurkdjian en collaboration avec la scénographe Séverine Baehrel, cette nouvelle installation a puisé son inspiration dans l'ornement floral, élément récurrent dans l’œuvre de l’artiste qui fait écho à la fragrance « À la rose » créée pour Maison Francis Kurkdjian.

Francis Kurkdjian imagined a monumental mirror, as a reference to the Hall of Mirrors of the Château de Versailles, that welcomes visitors at the Grand Palais in Paris, where a retrospective devoted to painter Elisabeth Louise Vigée Le Brun is currently hosted. This new installation, which he created with scenographer Séverine Baehrel, is inspired from floral ornament, a recurring pattern in the Vigée Le Brun work. It is magnified with a poetic rose scent that adds a sensory element to the exhibition and echoes 'A la rose', a fragrance from the Maison Francis Kurkdjian collection.
