For this second project with lille3000, the perfumer Francis Kurkdjian took inspiration from Leonardo da Vinci, whose artistic presence made its mark on Milan, and designed a perfumed sfumato visible from the main entrance of the Palazzo delle Stelline. Given the name “Stratus 2015”, this cloudy impression is an invitation to escape into a deep mist which releases its olfactory imprint through the pathways of the France / Lille Europe Pavilion. Built around an accord of banana, orange, lotus and coffee flowers, its bouquet echoes the plants presented in the “Textifood” exhibition. By using a completely unique medium for this olfactory installation, Francis Kurkdjian brings an extraordinary creative touch to enhance the France / Lille Europe Pavilion.
