What are these and why are we using them? Quick clip from a recent #sitevisit outlining the how and why behind these deck brackets.

To expand in why we blocked them out and removed the plywood sheathing first, we wanted the blocking to be tight up against the structural LVL behind the sheathing, and since the sheathing was padded off of the LVL behind it, due to steel brackets, we had to remove the sheathing.
