Hello my friends and welcome!
Todays video is a quick DIY mail art envelope to coordinate with the card I made in my previous video called Conversation Hearts Shaker Card. I used some distress inks and Hero Arts unicorn pigment ink and created a DIY stencil out of a couple different heart dies and using Lawn Fawns acetate. This acetate is great because it is thicker than most and will hold up to some heavy use.

Envelope Glue Recipe Found at thepostmansknock.com Great Place if you want to learn Calligraphy for a latte!
This glue is to be applied and then let dry and then remoistened.
3 Tbsp White Vinegar
1 Packet* granulated gelatin
1 tsp extract of your choice-I used Mexican Vanilla that I had on hand
1 tsp sugar ( I accidentally used 2 and it works fine, I think it makes it stickier)
*In the US, gelatin is generally sold in envelopes. This is equal to 0.25 ounces granulated gelatin or 4 sheets of leaf gelatin.
Put vinegar in small container and microwave until hot 30-45 seconds. (My microwave is 900 watts and 30 seconds had it just boiling, but not over flowing) any higher wattage and I would watch closely so as not to boil over.
Pour the gelatin into the hot vinegar and mix until dissolved. Next, add the sugar and stir to combine. Finally add in your extract of choice and stir. This will be a bit silky and maple syrup like.
Once you are finished you can place in fridge and it will become jelly like, simply take a chunk out and melt in microwave 10-15 seconds so it liquefies and you are ready to use it again.
