Happy holidays! We've nearly reached 50 subscribers and it's been over a year since I uploaded my public piano medley of Touhou songs.
I recorded that medley at least a few weeks before I uploaded it. It was after a long session of public piano playing and I was exhausted. My parents wanted a recording of me playing some song though so I thought that I could at least theme the recording around Touhou.
My playing was rough and I ad-libbed most of it without thinking where the medley would continue. Eventually, I ended it with the same song it started with, Necrofantasia, to this day one of my favorite songs to play on piano.
I forgot about that video for a while until I decided I wanted to upload something better than the original Satori Maiden cover for my birthday. My first Necrofantasia cover did pretty well so I decided that even a messy recording with a better take of that song wouldn't be such a bad upload. Now that video is my most liked video of all time. Thank you.
In similar spirit, I pumped this video out rather quickly to keep the energy loose but don't let that fool you. I spent months improvising this song over and over again (been a while since then though). These days I don't have that much time to play piano anymore, but I hope you'll enjoy this one.
Also, I realized OBS has been recording all my audio tracks at 150kbps... so now you should hear a noticeable improvement in audio quality compared to previous recordings.
