I made a poll for which manga and anime I should compare next, and mostly everyone who voted picked Maid Sama. I'm surprised such an underrated series beat out Chainsaw Man and the Quintessential Quintuplets.
Since this series is way too big to cover in just 1 video, I was only able to cover volumes 1 and 2 for now. I apologize for the awful camera footage and bad audio. I'll try using a tripod the next time I make one of these, and I'm hoping to get a mic for my phone as well.
Maid Sama by Hiro Fujiwara is a quirky high school rom com about a tough as nails girl named Misaki, who became the first female class president at a formerly all boys school. While everyone at the school fears her authority at school, Misaki Ayuzawa has a secret she wants no one to know. She works at a maid cafe to try helping her family out, after her dad walked out on her family.
One night, a boy Misaki can't stand named Takumi Usui discovers her maid secret, and Misaki fears he'll blab it to the school, only to be surprised that he does not tell a soul. It's a quirky series of secrets and awkward teenage romantic tension.
