The Chessable Masters is the first leg of the 2025 Champions Chess Tour. Eight invited players including Magnus Carlsen, Fabiano Caruana, Hikaru Nakamura, and Alireza Firouzja, are joined by the top-eight players from the Play-In to compete for top prize money ($150,000) and CCT Points, which may grant them a spot at the Esports World Cup.

The Champions Chess Tour consists of two online events. The top-12 players from the CCT qualify for this year's Esports World Cup. This is the first time in history that chess makes it to the stage of this prestigious esports event.
