Many say that INAV or Ardupilot require magnetometer/compass on a FPV drone to fly. This is not true! Both INAV and Ardupilot will fly perfectly well without a magnetometer. Compass is only an optional sensor. Not mandatory. But INAV will require MAG to perform one specific function: Position Hold and Return To Home. If you don’t plan using them, you don’t need magnetometer at all!
