This video is a fun experiment trying to create a magnetic gluing jig, using a metal sheet and some magnets from Amazon – it was successful in the end, but had a steep learning curve!
The Micromark jig is undoubtedly helpful having the perpendicular raised edges, but for my projects (that may well exceed the 12x12 inch square tray) this would not be practicable, hence my preferred option of a flat sheet and one raised edge.
