Coron off the beaten path - a magical treehouse + Black Island!
I wanted to stay in a quiet place away from other tourists, and found the perfect place - a magical treehouse located in Busuanga, 30 minutes away from Coron Airport. The treehouse overlooks a beautiful mangrove, has an outdoor shower, and comes with the most adorable residential tour guide (watch the vlog to find out who he is!).
Another benefit of staying on this side of the island, is that you can go island hopping at a cheaper rate! We took a private tour to Black Island, which was absolutely gorgeous and even had a cool cave you can swim in. Snorkeling was a lot of fun, so was flying a drone around the lagoons!
