My dear friend Sherie sent me pins although she didn't have to.... she sent to me after it was clear I wasn't going to get any pins for a pin swap we were both in. And I have been told two other channels are planning to send me something still.... all of these are NOT the person who was supposed to send to me in the swap.
I hate it when a swap doesn't work fully for one reason or another. But I love it when others in the Disney community step up and go beyond to make up for problems! It really really isn't about the pins or the stuff for me. It is about the friendships and the connections and communication. Being the organizer of a swap is a commitment and a responsibility to make sure communication is maintained and all parties have both sent and received.
