I always have trouble watching this. Not because it's really bad (it's alright for what it is) I'm just really emotional about it. I do genuinely love these characters, and I do miss them. I still cry every time I watch it. Which is not often. This is my first rewatch in a decade.
I unlisted this series forever ago, but I've really been wanting to do a remaster of it. Basically, the biggest change is that it's now 16:9. I cut a little bit for time, but mostly it was just small shots or unneeded lines. I also added in some sound effects in places (I'm quite bad at doing that, sorry)

Do I enjoy how dark this series gets? No, not really. I freeze up when I remember it or see it. I regret a lot of it immensely. I was young and having a lot of life and emotional troubles. I was already really struggling while working on it, I do have the tendency to overwork myself, and I did do that with this series. I start shaking pretty badly when watching, and I do often quietly cry when seeing it. You can imagine for the few days I was editing this together that my eyes were never dry. It was honestly such a struggle. Every time I would finish cutting/editing an episode for the new format, I would just dread continuing. "When will this be over?" I said every time. "I can't take any more of this!".
(Also, if there are some editing mistakes in this, I'm so sorry. I didn't have the strength to review the entire thing again after all that...)
I'm really glad that it's done. I don't want to watch it again for a long time. I love the characters but I despise myself and my writing, thus it's quite hard to consume. I can't even say I'm glad I made it or that it exists. But, just because something isn't very good doesn't mean it doesn't deserve to exist. I guess this series taught me that at least.
Edit: I will add, please do not transform this work. No redub, no reanimation. You may of course create fanart and tag me some way, but if it has the actual content of the series itself (the series audio or the series visuals) it will be very difficult for me to fully appreciate your hard work.
